Description
The VAREM MB019S2P00000000 is the original replacement membrane for Intervarem LS pressure vessels of 19, 20, 24 and 25 litres. It fits vessels with a galvanised or painted flange as well as vessels with a stainless steel flange, in horizontal and vertical versions. The membrane is suitable for drinking water.
A failed membrane shows up as rapid pump cycling, or as water escaping from the pre-charge valve. Because the membrane is replaceable, the complete vessel does not need to be replaced. Depressurise the vessel, remove the flange and fit the new membrane. Then restore the pre-charge, which is normally set 0.2 to 0.3 bar below the pump’s cut-in pressure.
