Description
The Nettuno is an active air-cooled variable speed drive that provides controlled starting and stopping for a three-phase (400V) electric pump, maintaining a constant, adjustable water pressure. In other words, you can set the pressure from 0.5 to 25 bar, and the drive will adjust the motor speed based on demand. If water demand decreases, the drive reduces the pump speed while maintaining a constant pressure. Controlling pump speed via frequency conversion also results in significant energy savings at lower speeds!
Another advantage is the reduction of water hammer and the prevention of high inrush currents, as the pump starts and stops gradually. This significantly extends the lifespan of both your pump and your piping system.
The Nettuno protects your pump against dry running and power surges, and can be controlled via an external contact (float switch, timer, etc.). Up to 8 units can be linked together to manage multiple pumps in parallel.
The controller requires a pressure sensor for correct operation. When linking multiple Nettuno drives, only a single pressure sensor is required for the entire system.
Comes standard with a wall mounting bracket.
